DVD # 12
Sosuishitsu Ryu Jujutsu # 1

In 1650 a samurai of Bungo Takeda named Futagami Hannosuke Masanori, a master of Takenouchi-Ryu and many other schools, sought retreat on the Yoshino Mountain for 37 days. There in the stillness of the mountain he practiced and meditated on the basic philosophy of JuJutsu. When he came down off the mountain he had his own distinctive system of JuJutsu. He called it Sosuishitsu Ryu, meaning, school of holding together two rivers. It was named after the pure flowing waters of the Yoshino Rivers.

This first DVD features Kumi Uchi Jujutsu demonstrated by Shitama Manzo the present Daishihan (Soke of Sosuishitsu Ryu). Filmed at the Sosuishitu Ryu hombu dojo in Fukuoka, Japan during his high school years he demonstrates 48 original techniques.

DVD # 13
Sosuishitsu Ryu Jujutsu # 2

This very rare DVD features Koshi no Mawari techniques (Iaijutsu) demonstrated by Shitama Shuzo Munetada. Filmed at the Sosuishitsu Ryu hombu dojo in Fukuoka, Japan.

CHART # 1
Shindo Muso Ryu Jodo # 1

This is the first of two very rare hand drawn wall charts illustrating the twelve Kihon (basic techniques) of Shindo Muso Ryu Jodo. Edited by Mr. Mitsuo Hamaji, founder of the International Martial Arts Research Association (I.M.A.R.A.) in the early 1960's. These rare charts represent some of the earliest resesearch guides for the art of Jodo. Both charts are in the Japanese language.

Chart # 1 includes an introduction to Jodo and the first six Kihon (basic techniques) of Shindo Muso Ryu: Honte-uchi, Gyakute-uchi, Hiki-otoshi-uchi, Kaeshi-zuki, Gyakute-zuki and Makiotoshi.

CHART # 2
Shindo Muso Ryu Jodo # 2

Chart # 2 includes the next six Kihon: Kuritsuke, Kurihanashi, Taiatari, Tsukihazushi-uchi, Dobarai-uchi and Taihazushi-uchi.
